The game opens with the character creation screen. Here you can customize the look of your character and enter a username for your hero. After you create your character you’ll see a quick cut-scene that opens the beginning of the game and kicks off the storyline. Ahead of your character, you’ll bump into an egg that hatches. If you’ve been keeping up with the Mini Heroes beta, or are just a fan of the Castaway series by Likwid Games (of course, the same developer as Mini Heroes) then this is a very exciting day! Finally, Mini Heroes is out of beta and all of the dungeons are open. Unfortunately, if you played the game in beta then your account is wiped, but a special item is given to all beta testers. If you remember playing Castaway then you’ll find yourself right at home in Mini Heroes where many of the mechanics are similar as well as the gameplay. I’m More >
Recently, Likwid Games unveiled the first look at their new game, Mini Heroes, a multiplayer sequel to Castaway 2. The game features hundreds of different weapons and armors and will be released later this summer! As you can see from the screenshot, the game’s artwork is completely redone to work better in multiplayer situations, with much more detail and is zoomed-out a bit compared to the previous Castaway games to compensate for multiplayer. Most of us have probably played and enjoyed the awesome game that is Castaway 2, by Likwid Games. The game was extremely popular and eventually make its way all over the internet. If you’ve payed any attention to the Likwid Games forums or keep and eye on the Armor Games blog, then you’ll know that Mini Heroes, the sequel to Castaway 2 (or at least closely based on the Castaway series) is going to be making its way to Armor Games this July. What is interesting about Mini Heroes is that the game is actually multiplayer. Not too many details More >
You heard it right, one of the most epic RPG games is now in the works to be set up for multiplayer on Facebook. The game sounds like it going to be awesome so far and the multiplayer interaction looks like it’ll fit in perfectly with the game. I’m personally a big fan of the original two games and I’m looking forward to Castaway: Online! Currently, I’ve only heard about the game being launched on Facebook and I don’t know if it’ll end up anywhere else.
Check out some of the new features being planned: “Select between a boy or girl More >
Rudy Sudarto, the developer of the Epic War series, who recently released Epic War 5, is now planning on making a MMO Epic War game that bring the game into a new dimension of multiplayer fun! Rudy has created a thread on Kongregate looking for suggestions for the new game. So far it looks like the gameplay has already been thought out, bringing back the card system of Epic War 4 (my favorite Epic War) and more. Rudy is still looking for suggestions of new units that’ll be added to the bestiary of Epic War 5. So if you’re interested More >
Phage Wars Live is a new, an exceptionally awesome game, by Joey Betz, developer of the original Phage Wars, the Crush the Castle series, the Demolition City series, the Sushi Cat series, and many more! Phage Wars Live carries over the exciting and additively fun realm of Phage Wars and carries it into a new dimension of multiplayer joy. Phage Wars Live is by far one of the best multiplayer games that I’ve played in a long time, that doesn’t over-complicate anything, keeps the same fun, addictive qualities as the original, and lets you play quick games with people all around the world! Back in March I updated you on the Exit Path 2 early beta sign-up and now, John (Jmtb02 on Armor Games) has announced that Exit Path 2 will be ready this summer! Exit Path, if you remember is a fun and challenging platformer that pushed you through challenging obstacle courses in which you had to elude various deadly objects. Although, Exit Path did really pull everyone in with it’s exciting and competitive multiplayer. Not much information has been released, but I’m positive that it’ll be better than ever and the gameplay will be expanded upon even more! As of March, More >
