Alight (in dreams) is a new art adventure game that takes you through the dreams of a young man as he rethinks and relives key events in his life that lead him to view the world a gloomy, uninteresting and dull, resulting eventually in suicidal thoughts. I’d describe this as an art game, because the game is mainly focused entirely on the storyline and the thoughts of the character, but unlike many art games that I’ve seen (which is a pretty unpopulated genre), Alight actually has difficulty and in each world you must retrieve an object, bring you on different routes and More >
Kingdom Rush is a new and innovative tower defense (TD) game by IRONHIDEGAMES, a relatively new game studio based in Uruguay. Kingdom Rush, unlike conventional tower defense games, you must build your towers, which can be upgraded to grant new abilities, on “strong-points.” Towers range from hurling spells, arrows, explosives, and sending out troops to guard the round, which I love! There are a total of 20 individual levels, I believe) and tons of enemies to destroy! This is truly a tower defense game like none-other as it expands upon the TD genre, with new and innovative gameplay concepts.

Flash Game License, one of my favorite sites to check out some future releases, is currently hosting their eighth Developer Competition, where developers, of all statuses, can enter their creations, made in 24 hours or less, into a grand competition. Competitors will face fierce competition from the other developers and you’re sure to see some great games made. What I love about these competitions is that you never know what kind of games people are going to make and some games are actually really good! Actually, Where am I?, a game made for the Ludum Dare competition, similar to this FGL Developer More >
For the last couple of days I’ve been playing a new game, (that I originally saw on FlashGamesLicense I believe) called RPG Shooter: Starwish. RPG Shooter: Starwish is by far one of my favorite RPG games that I’ve ever come across! The in-depth storyline of the Federates versus the Pirates will suck you into the game and will keep you coming back to the game. This game follows the life of a pilot named Deuce and his band of Pirates as they attempt to fend off the overpowering attacks of the Federates. Nothing is as it seems in this addictive More >
