FGL Developer Competition #8 – Make a Game in Under 24 Hours!

Flash Game License, one of my favorite sites to check out some future releases, is currently hosting their eighth Developer Competition, where developers, of all statuses, can enter their creations, made in 24 hours or less, into a grand competition. Kongregate: Mobile Game Contest (25,000 USD at Stake)

Since the release of the Kongregate Arcade App, which is available for Flash compatible Android phones, over 300,000 people have joined! If you don’t know what the Kongregate App is, it has hundreds of Kongregate games, all prepared to play on your Android phone. Anyway, Kongregate is now started up a contest with 25,000 USD on the line! Kongregate wants YOU to develop a mobile game for their app! The best game will receive 6,000 USD, second place will receive 4,000, third to tenth will get 1,125 dollars each and finally, fifteen runner-ups will get 400 dollars each.

Kongregate: Unity Contest Winners Announced!

Kongregate.com recently held an amazing Unity game development contest with prizes up to $10,000 USD (first place) which we briefly discussed in this post (check it for more information regarding the contest)! Hundreds upon hundreds of games were submitted and many of them were worthy of the grand prize, but ultimately 10 took away at the least $1,000 USD. Unlike many contests, the overall rating of the game was taken little into consideration and judges were sent in to determine the winners! Now the winners have been announced!
