This week there was a ton of great games! Probably my favorite game of the week was a chess-like game called Check Flag, which let you control chess-like pieces, with unique movement schemes, on a quest to take the enemy’s flag. Think of it as a combination between capture the flag and chess! Another great game was Impasse, a challenging and minimalistic puzzler that is a sure-fire way to get your brain going. Coaster Racers 2 just came out this week, the sequel to Coaster Racers, which introduced a new 3D feel to racing games in the flash realm. Another game, that just came out today, which I’ll talk a bit more about soon, called Stealing the Diamond, has to be one of the funniest “decision-genre” games that I’ve ever played, that makes fun of MineCraft, Falco, various memes, and many more as your stick figure tries to snatch The Tunisian Diamond! Last but not least, I Wanna Win! is an exciting mini-game puzzler!

Check Flag Created by: JoshuaJewell

“Check Flag is a new and original chess-like game that delivers a unique, strategy-oriented, exciting board game experience. In Check Flag, much like the game chess, your goal is to reach a certain marker on the board, but instead of a king, you are instead after the enemy’s flag. Snatch the enemy’s flag and you’ll win the duel! Each new levels you’ll gain access to a new type of unit. Each unit has a different movement scheme, similar to the game of chess. In Check Flag, there are a total of 48 levels, 3 copies of the original 16 levels in different difficulties. Check Flag is a whole new board game experience!” – Continue reading our review of Check Flag!

Impasse Created by: wanderlands

Impasse is a new and very challenging puzzler, that’ll definitely get you thinking! Your goal in every level is to get to the green checkmark on the other side of the map. But, it’s much easier said then done and the map is often filled with multiple obstacles! Everything time you move, the other circles, which if you bump into them will make your restart, will move in an opposite or equal vertical fashion. This is definitely one of the harder puzzlers around and completing all of the levels will definitely be a challenge. If you’re looking for a great puzzler, check out Impasse today!

Coaster Racer 2 Created by: LongAnimals

I remember playing the original Coaster Racer some months back and I was astonished by the wonderful graphics and 3D feel that the game had. Until then, I hadn’t seen a single good 3D racer in Flash. Well, now the amazing racer is back and brings a couple of new features to the table. Go on another high-flying racing adventure as you ride in either a bike or car, with a new nitro feature and challenge races. Coaster Racer 2 is a great expansion to the original Coaster Racer. If you love fast-paced racers, with a bit of danger, then this in the game for you!

Stealing the Diamond Created by: PuffballsUnited

Stealing the Diamond is one of those games, where the gameplay is okay, but it’s hilarious – and therefore deserves an automatic rating of 10/10. Stealing the Diamond is one of the funniest games I’ve played in a long time, if not the funniest as it pokes fun at various memes, and some of the things in the game are pretty comical as well. Your stickman’s goal is to steal the grand Tunisian Diamond which is appearing in a local exhibit. Break into the museum and escape with the diamond. There are three possible endings to the game and many different paths that lead to death. This is a fun and quick, comical, game.

I Wanna Win! Created by: mofunzone

“I Wanna Win! is a new and exciting, mini-game, puzzler that’ll bring you across 25 different levels, all with different mini-games, on a quest to collect all 25 trophies! During each mini-game, you’ll have the chance to earn up to a three star rating. How to earn the stars is posted on the level select menu, and of course, earning a different amount of stars differs from one mini-game to another. I Wanna Win! is a great, and short, game to play that is also quite relaxing. The game isn’t too difficult and is a fun game to play if you have a good 10-20 minutes to spare.” – Continue reading our review of I Wanna Win!

This week was full of many great games. My favorite game of the week was a new action-defense game, called Top Defense. In Top Defense your goal was to protect your planet from a group of surrounding tribes and worlds from taking control of your planet. Another great game this week was Solarmax, another planetary game, where you must wipe out all of the enemy life on a planet. Solarmax, plays much like the popular game Nano War, but instead of taking cells, you must take planets into your control and form a strategic plan to destroy all enemy life. Speaking of Nano War, Nano War 2, just came out on the 28, almost hitting 4.0 on Kong. A game that I actually reviewed this week, Villainous, an “anti-TD” game, where you summon the monsters, snatched the second highest rated game slot on Kongregate. Xonix 3D is another impressive game to be released this week, being a tribute to XonixAir and the original Xonix. Anyway, let’s get started!

Top Defense Created by gamingcar

Top Defense is a new and exciting action defense game where you play as the last human remaining on the planet after the population is wiped out. Neighboring planets are now trying to seize control of your planet. Don’t let that happen. Control the missile silo and defend your planet using missiles, bombs, and various other weaponry. As you progress through the game and begin to fight off larger hordes of enemies, you’ll unlock new weapons. During battle you must gain energy and upgrade your weapons. Protect your base and fight off multiple streams of enemies!

Solarmax Created by nicotuason

Solarmax is a close competitor of Top Defense for me, as their both amazing and really addictive games. You’ll be able to dive right into Solarmax if you’ve ever played Nano War before, or a game similar as the gameplay can be a bit confusing, luckily there is an in-game tutorial. Your goal is to take control of all of the planets on the screen. You and your enemy will usually start with one, or more planets in your control and through strategic manuvers you must snatch other unoccupied, or occupied planets from the enemy. Once you control all of the planets you’ll win and you’ll move on to the next level. There is a total of 18 levels. Music and art, as well as gameplay, was very impressive and well executed.

Villainous Created by Rete

“Villainous is a new and exciting tower defense game, with a twist! This time around, you play the villian and you must pillage villages and siege them with your goblins, golems, healers and more! Villaianous places you in control of the attack and allows you to summon different units onto the battlefield! Along the path to the village you’ll encounter various towers and enemies that’ll try to halt your army with arrows and explosives! Strategically place your units to avoid deaths! If you get enough raiders into the town you’ll destroy the village and the land will be yours! Take over all of the land, which comes up to 20 exciting and challenging levels, and rule the world!” – Continue reading our review of Villainous!

Nano War 2 Created by badben

Nano War is back and better than ever. New graphics and better gameplay, keeping everything you loved about the original Nano War and bringing new things to the table, this game will bring you back to 2007. This time around there are three new cells types, all of which will aid you in different way on the battlefield. Also accompanying this game is the long-awaited multiplayer and you can go head to head to head with three different players. Campaign mode is filled with 25 challenging levels. Amazing gameplay, fresh graphics and competitive multiplayer will make you stick around for a while! Be sure to play Nano War 2 if you haven’t already!

Xonix 3D Created by myplayyard

“Xonix 3D is a new, and exciting action game where your goal is to create blocks on the screen and cover up as much as the screen as possible while dodging and eluding enemies left and right. During the game, you can snatch power-ups and lives to aid you on your journey. Xonix 3D is actually a 3D version of AirXonix, which I’m not familiar with, but I am quite familiar with the gameplay style which has been featured in a couple of other games before that I’ve played. Xonix 3D will challenge you to complete a total of 10 levels (I believe) while you try to rack up as much points as possible, in the least amount of time possible. Once you die or beat the game you can submit your high-score and see how you rank against other players! I’m in the top 25 all-time!” – Continue reading our review of Xonix 3D!

Well, that sums it up for the best games of the week. Hopefully I’ve introduced a couple of new games to keep your weekend fun!

This week was full of a bunch of great games! Probably my favorite game for this entire week is Ultimate Assassin 3, where you must assassinate targets while eluding the target’s bodyguards! Ultimate Assassin has been one of my favorite series for a while, so it definitely took the cake for me this week. Another game that caught my eye was Where am I?, which was made for in 48 hours or less for the 19 Ludum Dare competition. In Where am I? you played as a square trying to find his way out of the maze. While it doesn’t sound very exciting, the way the developer pulled off the game, and making the walls invisible unless you crashed into them created a very unique and exciting atmosphere, making this game one of the best maze games I’ve ever played. Days of Monsters and Skinny were also in my top five for this week. Finally, making it into the fifth slot for me was Cardboard Box Assembler. Let’s get started!

Ultimate Assassin 3 Created by: mastermax

“Ultimate Assassin is now back and better than ever! Your goal is to kill the boss in each level and escape the facility through a portal before the bodyguards catch sight of you! This heart-pounding, action, assassin-themed game will put you in the assassin’s shoes as he is sent in the past to kill “certain targets” – reminds me of Terminator! Each of the 90 levels (yes NINETY) will put you in a different room filled with guards, places to hid and good assassination spots. If you’ve played the original, or the second Ultimate Assassin then you’ll relish the third as it carries over many of the same aspects and introduces nearly 100 new levels!” – Continue reading our review of Ultimate Assassin 3!

Where am I? Created by: Bennuk

Where am I? converges a memory game with a maze game to give a breath of fresh air to the maze genre. Each level presents your character on the screen and the area around the character is completely black. Bumping into obstacles and walls will allow you to see them. Your goal is to make your way through the maze and exit the screen. This is harder than it sounds though and you must remember where all of the obstacles are! While this game is very fun and challenging, it is a bit short and there seems to be only around five or so levels. Overall, a very fun maze game that provides a unique experience like no other.

Skinny Created by: wittyhobos

Skinny is a new game by Witthobs, developer of the very atmospheric game, Coma. Skinny is an exciting, yet chilling tale of a robot that finds himself in middle of a sort of mystery of attacked robots. This game has much the same atmosphere of Coma and the same mystery aurora! Take control of your robot, which other bots will call you along the way “Skinny” and grapple, jump and sling your way through this platform puzzler that’ll constantly surprise you. My only complain is that the game is completely WASD and no arrow key option is present. Pictures speak a thousand words, so check out the trailer below:

Days of Monsters Created by: MostroGames

Days of Monsters follows the storyline of kid who has been bullied his entire life. But all of that is about to change and the world will finally obey his command once you destroys all of the world’s cities with his monsters! Take control of his monster lab and upgrade your monster to attack and destroy the cities! Through the rumbling in the city, you must also destroy the military there to ensure total destruction! As you upgrade your monster you’ll go on to destroy bigger and bigger cities until the world is under your control!

Cardboard Box Assembler Created by: AdultSwimGames

“Cardboard Box Assembler is a new and unique platformer puzzler game where you play as Melven and help him through his mental breakdown! This fun platformer will bring you through 28 exciting and mind-bending levels as you guide Melvin through the 3D box-like levels searching for keys and jumping through portals and more. Here the official game description: “Wrap your brain around the six sides of a cube in this disorienting puzzle game as you guide Melvin through his own mental breakdown. In a twisty 3D world where gravity is relative, Melvin must collect keys and gems to unlock increasingly confusing levels as he journeys into the darkest parts of his mind. For you that means more than 30 levels of sanity-bending platforming puzzles, and the satisfaction of helping the poor guy find himself.” You can find the walkthrough, exclusively, on AdultSwim.” – Continue reading our article on Cardboard Box Assembler!

This week was full of great games! My favorite games of the week had to of been Rocket Panda, Grand Prix Go and Learn to Fly 2. I especially enjoyed Grand Prix Go, which I spent a couple of days with. Rocket Panda was a fast-paced shooter taken into the three-dimensional world and Learn to Fly 2, which is the sequel to one of the highest rated games to grace the Flash realm, revolves around cute penguin and his desire to redeem himself and prove the world he can fly. Another great game was KOLM 2, but it just seemed to lack gameplay and difficulty a bit in my opinion. Anyway, let’s get started!

“Learn to Fly 2 is now out onto Kongregate! The penguin is back in this epic launching game where the penguin once again suits up to prove the world wrong – penguins aren’t flightless birds! The penguin sets out to avenge himself as he catches a photo of himself crashing in the last game (at the end) on Failbird (a site in the game). Learn to Fly 2 keeps the same addictive qualities of the original game, and tosses in many new features to spice up the gameplay and give a unique feel to this epic sequel. If you’ve never played Learn to Fly, basically, you must launch your penguin from a slope of snow and send him gliding across the ocean! Try to reach the farthest distance and unlock new awards and buy new equipment at the shop.” – Continue reading our review of Learn to Fly 2!

“Grand Prix Go is a new and fast-paced, furious, formula-one racing game sub-licensed by TurboNuke (Tim Round, TurboBoing, did all of the art, except the user interfaces and most of the programming. RobotJAM worked on UI and LongAnimals contributed a bit in programming). Much like actual formula-one racing, you must take control of a formula one car and drive it through treacherous tracks that involve wild turns and speeding strips where you can you your turbo to whiz past that competition. As you complete races you’ll be able to move on to tougher tourneys and if you complete enough tasks you’ll move on past the gold cup to the pro series. Grand Prix Go truly delivers one of the best formula-one racing experiences in the Flash world.” – Continue reading our review of Grand Prix Go!

Rocket Panda Created by: LongAnimals

“Rocket Panda is a new and exciting three-dimensional shoot-em’-up by LongAnimals. LongAnimals has produced many amazing games over the years and I’ve been watching their success really kick off from the beginning. Rocket Panda is a really exciting shooter filled with a bunch of enemies, unique bosses and pandas and badgers! Your goal in each of the ten levels is to destroy the onslaught of enemies and their projectiles and reach the end of the level, but first you must face an intimidating bosses! Rocket Panda also introduces a nice theme music and stunning three-dimensional visuals.” – Continue reading our review of Rocket Panda!

“KOLM 2 is now out on Armor Games. I highly recommend playing the originally KOLM first, if you haven’t already – playing KOLM 2 will be rather confusing if you haven’t played the game that got the ball rolling for the sequel. KOLM originally left you off as you arrived out of your mother’s domain and into a new land. KOLM 2 now investigates that land and unravels a grand family conspiracy as he finds two new characters along his journey for freedom. I don’t want to give away too much of the storyline, but the end is definitely unexpected and thought-provoking.” – Continue reading our review of KOLM 2!

Army of Ages is a new Age of War type game (by the same developer) where you must evolve into different generations of humans, learn new combats while your enemy evolves with time to. Unfortunately, that was the last game and this time around you’ll be versing a much less primitive enemy – aliens! Suit up and arm yourself with clubs, axes, swords and guns as you evolve through time into a force to be reckoned with. The aliens will also improve over time, so be sure to evolve quickly and set up defenses, like turrets. Anyone that loved the Age of War series will definitely enjoy Army of Ages!

Anyway, that wraps it up for the best games of the week. Hopefully, I’ve introduced one or two new games to you!

This week has been the best week for games in a while! This week, one of the best RPGs I’ve come across in my time in the Flash realm, RPG Shooter: Starwish was released and it took the weekly prize in the Kongregate contest. RPG Shooter: Starwish was also featured on Armor Games. In other news, the third chapter of Flagstaff was released, Flagstaff: Chapter Three. Moontype, another game to graze Armor Games is fun and quick-paced typing game, perfect for a short break from work! Another fantastic game was Elements of Arkandia where you must solve puzzles all around Arkandia and sell items at your shop. As you can tell, this entire week has been jam-packed with amazing games from a lot of big-name and indie developers alike. Anyway, let’s get started!

RPG Shooter: Starwish Created by: xdanond

My favorite game of the week by far, and I’m guessing a lot of people agree with me, coming in first place for the weekly Kongregate contest is RPG Shooter: Starwish! RPG Shooter: Sharwish, according to the developer is a game made, because he saw no games with much of an in-depth storyline anywhere in the Flash world. I agree and this game brings a whole new breath of fresh air and hopefully more games will follow suite. Starwish was actually based off of the Kongregate Shootorials, but from the way the developer executed the game, you’d never guess it – the game was pulled off that well and the storyline perfectly accompanied the game and turned the entire game into less of a brainless shoot-em-up and instead into a smartly written game with vivid and colorful characters that created an unbelievable atmosphere for the game. View our review for RPG Shooter: Starwish!

MoonType Created by: Chman

MoonType is a new fast-paced typing game where you must type all of the words on the screen. To make the game more interesting, the developer made you have to defend a point on the screen and from there you can fire rockets at the spaceships that are attacking you. MoonType becomes really quick, and the enemies start to pile up and overwhelm you around level 10. If you can get past level 10 I congratulate you, because I couldn’t even get that far! My only complaint is that later on in the game, when the enemies are literally piled on top of one another, that it becomes very hard to read the text and mistakes are practically guaranteed to be made. Besides that, MoonType is one of my favorite typing games I’ve come across!

Jack in the Box Created by: sihirbaz

Jack in the Box is a great platformer that starts off like any other with simple platforming basics, but then things take a turn and new characters are introduced into the game! On each level (past the tutorial levels) you must control multiple characters, at the same time, and guide them to the box. There are a total of 30 levels, and as you progress through the game they become increasingly difficulty as this platformer puzzler introduces more characters and new level designs that’ll be sure to make you work out the puzzles in your head. This is a great puzzler if you have an hour to spare!

Myth Wars 2 Created by: belugerin

“Have you been craving a RTS battlefield game recently, like Epic War? Well, Myth Wars 2 is finally here and better than ever! Myth Wars 2 is a deeply stratregic game where you must summon units from your side of the battlefield (and depending what team you side with you’ll have different units) and you must guide them through the chaos, fending and defeating foes along the way to reach the enemy castle. Your goal is to destroy the enemy’s stronghold and to defeat all of their units. Before each battle you can upgrade your units, buy new units, add new upgrades, or abilities to them, and up their level. You can also upgrade your base for more health and special weapons!” – Continue reading our review of Myth Wars 2!

Riddle Transfer Created by: JonBro

“Riddle Transfer takes place right where Riddle School 5 left off, and is the sizeable first part of what will be a five-part series. Phil Eggtree has saved his friends and rid the world of the alien leader Viz, but his journey back home doesn’t turn out how anyone could have predicted. This is the start of a new adventure–one much more dangerous than the last. Those of you who wanted to see a Riddle School 6, here it is! More than half a year in the making, this is physically larger than any of the Riddle School games, and a lot of time has been spent touching up the story, the puzzles, the animation, and in all other aspects making sure it meets (and hopefully surpasses) the standards set by the first series. The beginning of this game probably won’t make much sense if you haven’t played Riddle School 5, but I sincerely hope that even those of you who haven’t played my other point-and-click games will enjoy this new adventure.” – game description (Newgrounds.com). View walkthrough for Riddle Tranfer!

That sums up the best games of the week and hopefully I’ve introduced one or two new games to you!

This week was full of exceptional games! I spent a lot of time with Space Arcade and the Warp Game. Dribbles: For the Greater Good was also another fantastic game and is currently on Armor Games. Some other highlights are Avalon – Last Stand, which was actually rated quiet low on Armor Games at 5.3/10 currently, and Hands of War 2 – Expansion Edition which we announced the release of back on Wednesday. Anyway, let’s get started!

Warp Game Created by GraniteGear

My favorite game of the week had to be the Warp Game. Coincidentally enough, I saw the game first on Flash Game License when the developers were trying to get a sponsor for their game (FGL is a great site by the way, especially if you’re trying to find a sponsor for your game, get games for your company, or just play games while they’re underground). The Warp Game, while not entirely unique, is an amazingly fun platformer with a warp system so that if you fall off the stage you’ll appear on the opposite end of the stage. Kind of like Pac-Man or Doodle Jump – your character flies off the left side of the screen and appears on the right. There are actually a bunch of challenging levels and you’ll definitely have to take a couple of seconds to figure out what you have to do. There are thirty default levels if I remember correctly, but with the Kong API users can submit their own user-created levels and share them with the world! Game overall platformer and puzzler!

Space Arcade Created by tonechild

Space Arcade was a fast shoot-em’-up by ToneChild. Fend off hundreds upon hundreds of ships with your decked out ship as you upgrade it with the money from debris. While Space Arcade is a truly fun game to play and I love all of the different guns you could buy, it lacked creativity. I’ve been playing Flash games for some years now and I see nothing unique to Space Arcade. I would have just loved to see some creative outburst in this game, but all I see is the same generic shoot-em’-up that seems to come out every month now. I do think that the developer spent a lot of time on this project and I respect the Space Arcade for being a great shoot-em’-up, but I just don’t see any originality. I would have loved for the developer to do something that hasn’t been done before, or at least introduce fun-to-fight enemies into the battlefield. For the most part the levels were challenging, especially if you didn’t have the necessary equipment and upgrades. Overall Space Arcade is a great shoot-em’-up, but, unfortunately, isn’t too unique in any aspect.

Hands of War 2 – Expansion Edition Created by Djugan

As I mentioned in the opening paragraph, the Hands of War 2 – Expansion Edition had just came out! Hands of War 2 is by far one of my all-time favorite game, if not my all-time favorite game. If you haven’t played Hands of War it’s basically one of the the best Flash RPGs on the internet. One of the main new features of the expansion edition is that there are three new classes, the Beast Master, Necromancer and the Rogue (Rogue’s double hit attacks will kill anything in seconds!) New quests are also available, along with different mounts, new armors and equipments and much, much, more! If you liked the first and second Hands of War then you might want to consider running through this expansion pack since there are so many new features. I might try to complete the game with the new classes as they all sound really exciting! Anyway, Hands of War is one of the best RPGs around if you enjoyed the first and second game then you won’t want to miss Hands of War 2 – Expansion Edition!

Avalon – Last Stand Created by tpodhraski

Avalon – Last Stand is another really good game on Armor Games that unfortunately was rated pretty low! In Avalon – Last Stand you play as a magician named Nathanos. To get a good understanding of the game you must understand the storyline, which is well-written and gives you the sense that you’re protecting more than a city of humans but the entire species. The story goes that a mortal was born around the same time a meteor struck the land. Later in the human’s life he goes searching for this same meteor and is granted the power to turn the people into ferocious and savage beasts. Controlling these beast he attacked the seven cities in the land and planned to exterimated the human race. In the last city you must fight for all humanity and hold off Nathanos’ forces by casting spells onto his beasts! As you level up you’ll be able to buy more unique spells and cast them onto the monsters below. The H.U.D could be confusing at first and the game is rather difficult. Overall, a fun defense game that should have a higher rating.

Dribbles for the Greater Good Created by thepodgegames

Dribbles for the Greater Good is an innovative puzzler in which you must guide the Dribbles (the little red characters) to the ned point. Most importantly, you must get the king, which’ll be at the back of the pack, to the end point. You can sacrifice some Dribbles to get to the end of the level, a long as the king reaches the end! I haven’t seen a puzzler like this before and I think that the idea of the whole thing is pretty unique and creates a fun environment for the game. The H.U.D and controls are laid out nicely and are easy to use. All around a perfect puzzler. It was really fun and enjoyable to play and made you think outside the box a bit, especially as new abilities were introduced into the game.

Anyway, that sums it up for the best games of the week. I hope that I introduced one or two new games to you that you might not have chanced upon!

As always, there was a bunch of fantastic games released a week! My favorite games of the week were Dragon Age Legends: Remix (which actually came out the week before, but hadn’t been popularly released until this week when it hit the portals), Jacob and the Magic Piano, Hacker vs. Hacker and The Adventures of Red. I haven’t played too much Ninja Painter, which has scored pretty high on multiple portals, since it just came out a day, or two, ago, but from what I’ve seen so far it’s a great puzzler and should keep you entertained for some hours! The Project Eden Music Game Contest, on Kongregate, has been going strong and Step Seq. is currently leading strong, with Nerdook’s Jacob and the Magic Piano in second. Anyway, let’s get started!

Jacob and the Magic Piano Created by: Nerdook

Jacob and the Magic Piano is an exciting game by Nerdook, developer of Orbital Onslaught, I am Insane Rouge AI, Deadly Neighbors and Monster Slayers, just to name a couple of his most popular of his games, which has been entered in the Project Eden Music Game Contest. You’ll want to read the brief tutorial in game or you’ll be lost! Basically, the goal of the game is protect your gold stars from the ghosts. Blocks around the screen, and your character, will automatically attack the ghosts. Create your own music to beat each wave of enemies as each note, or sound, will allow a different block to attack. There are a total of 16 levels so this is a great game to play with a free evening!

The Adventures of Red Created by: Rob_Almighty

“Adventures of Red: Quest for the Chocolate Muffin is an exciting puzzler where you must guide a yellow duck, named Red, through a mansion to find a chocolate muffin – Red forgot to eat breakfast! Adventures of Red is a puzzler by Rob_Almighty. He made the Blow Things Up! series, worked on Hambo, The Golden Robot, Toxers, The Dreamerz and more! This cute point-and-click puzzler is the perfect game to play if you have a free afternoon! Anyway, here’s the official walkthrough and a text walkthrough, both of which can be found on Armor Games!” – Continue reading our walkthrough of The Adventures of Red!

Ninja Painter Created by: SilenGames

I played around a bit with Ninja Painter yesterday and it’s is definitely an very innovative puzzler! If you’ve ever played Pokemon, you’ll know how your character acts on ice, he/she slides until they crash into something. The same principle works in Ninja Painter! You’ll slide across the screen until you hit something. Your goal is to color all of the necessary blocks on the screen by collecting paint. There are three different difficulties, easy, medium and hard, and each one has ten levels. Ninja Painter is a game that you’ll be able to spend a good couple of hours with if you intend to complete the entire game. Harder levels will definitely take a lot of thinking to complete and you’ll need to think out a large sequence of events and reactions before moving.

Pogo Rampage Created by: vzigames

Pogo Rampage is a great fast-paced game, in which you play as a person on a pogo stick and you must kill the civilians, trucks, oil tankers, planes and even satellites to earn the highest score you possibly can for each stage! After you complete a stage you’ll arrive at a shop where you can buy new upgrades and increase the frequencies of the enemies appearing. In a sense, this game appears to be strongly inspired by Indestructo Tank as many of the concepts are the same and the gameplay is eerily similar. Still, Pogo Rampage brings a couple of unique features that’ll boast the efficentiey of your pogo stick. This is a great game to get acquainted with in a free break as it’s easy to get started!

Hacker vs. Hacker Created by: Ageofgames

Hacker vs. Hacker is an exciting game about two hackers fighting each other and trying to infect one another’s computers with malware and other viruses. Your goal is to set up defenses, which’ll blast the enemy viruses and allow you to focus more on your offense. As you defeat hackers, new and more powerful hackers will challenge you! There are a total of 17 hackers to fight. Hacker vs. Hacker may be a little confusing at first, but you’ll catch on by the second or third level. The tutorial stretches across a couple of levels so you’ll have a good idea of what to do soon enough!

That sums it up for the best games of the week! If you’d like, leave comments below on what you think are the best games of the week!

I’ve spent the last couple of days playing Siegius and Gun Mayhem, both amazing games released onto Armor Games just a couple of days ago. Gun Mayhem is an exciting brawler type games and if you’ve ever played the classic Super Mario Bros. Brawl then you probably have a good idea about what you’ll be doing in Gun Mayhem. Gun Mayhem was really fun and challenging and brought back good memories of Super Mario Bros. Brawl! Perks, different hand-guns and enemies with various powers kept this game fresh and made the game especially enjoyable! Play Gun Mayhem on Armor Games!

Siegius Created by JuiceTin

Siegius was another great game by Juice-Tin, who also developed Raze. Siegius is an awesome Epic War / Age of War styled game where you must defend your castle from the onslaught of enemies and advance towards the opposition, attacking and destroying their castle. Your goal is to send out your own units, use siege weapons and artillery to destroy the enemies and their castle. The game opens with you defending your castle from hundreds of enemies with artillery, archery and catapults and then goes over a brief tutorial. This is a must play game for anyone who enjoyed the gameplay of Age of War or Epic War. Play Seigius on Armor Games!

Nobuyuki Forces 4 Created by takahirou

Another neat game that I recently ran through recently was Nobuyuki Forces 4 which is a fast-paced shooter with Unity-like graphics and movement system. It was a really good shooter game, but sometimes the gameplay lacked and getting hit by bullets was unavoidable. Nevertheless, the game was still highly enjoyable and the 3D camera looked really great – this game is a good example of that you don’t need Unity to make three-dimensional type games, or really any other program, but instead it can be done entirely in Flash. Play Nobuyuki Forces 4 on Kongregate!

Help the Hero Created by Tony

Help the Hero, which was released on Thursday and I gave you all a heads up on the release date previously, came out and it was better than I originally thought it would be. Being a henchman never sounds fun, but Help the Hero was actually a pretty enjoyable game that delivered a unique gameplay experience. Your hero had four stats and your goal was to beat the opposing enemy, which you fought in some sort of auditorium, in every stat. Whoever beat whom with the least amount of damage dealt to their character won! There was no luck involved and I’m glad that there wasn’t! It was purely based on strategy and I loved how you had to hold onto the heroes items for him, almost in a puzzle genre sort of fashion until you could equip him. Play Help the Hero on Armor Games!

Amigo Pancho Created by ConmerGame

Amigo Pancho, which was recently released to the portals, is a fun and addictive puzzler in which you must escape the chasm you’ve fallen in! Luckily you took two balloons with you! Float your way to the top of the chasm and escape the freedom. Of course, this is much easier said than done and you’ll have to solve a multitude of puzzles to reach the top of the chasm and not allow your balloons to pop. There are many unique levels in which you must either kill the enemies, or at least block their firing to protect your balloons. Amigo Pancho is a quick and unique puzzler with many levels to keep you busy for the day! Play Amigo Pancho on Armor Games!

Anyway, that sums it up for this week’s best games! Hopefully, I introduced a couple of new games to you, to enjoy this weekend!

As always, there have been literally thousands of games uploaded to the portals! We’ll break it down to the top five five for you and then some. Notably, DuckLife3: Evolutiuon, Doodle God 2 and Blow Things Up! 2 were released this week – making it a great week for sequels. Anyway, let’s get started!

Doodle God 2 Created by Badim

“Doodle God 2 has just been released by Badim onto various portals, including Kongregate! If you loved the previous combination making game then you’ll love the new Doodle God 2 game! Once again you must combine various objects and elements that oyu make in-game – starting with only a few – to create as many elements as you can! This time around there are multiple episodes for you to complete. Episodes one and two are primarily beginner levels and episode three is the toughest episode! This addictive puzzler will challenge you to find literally hundreds of different elements! If you become stuck then check out the official walkthrough by Badim (the developer) over on Kongregate.com!” – Continue reading our walkthrough of Doodle God 2!

Blow Things Up! 2 Created by Rob_Almighty

“Blow Things Up! 2 is the sequel to the innovative Blow Things Up! which we actually reviewed back in November 2010 when it first hit the internet! Much like the last game your goal is to get through 42 exiting levels which you must knock all of the enemies off the screen with bombs! Beware, some of the Things are friendly and you won’t want to knock them off of the screen. You’ll have to place bombs strategicly so that you can take out all of the baddies and keep the yellow Things alive! This time around there is a variety of new Things to blow up! There are things that can catch fire and melt objects, Things that bounce and jump, balloon Things and more!” – Continue reading our review of Blow Things Up! 2!

DuckLife3: Evolution Created by sims5000

DuckLife is back and better than ever! If you’ve never played DuckLife before, basically you have to train your duck and then enter it into a race with other ducks! You’re goal is to beat the duck racing champion! Along the way you’ll have to train your swimming, running, climbing and flying by testing your skills at fun mini-games. Once you’re ready for a race, enter your duck and watch him race. Last week, RoboJAM and Rob_Almighty introduced Animal Raceway, which is much like DuckLife, except with more animals. For me, personally, Animal Raceway beats DuckLife any day, but the ducks are so cute!

Soviet Rocket Giraffe Go Go Go! Created byJohn

Soviet Rocket Giraffe Go Go Go! is another amazing game by John (jmtb02). You play as a Giraffe is Soviet Russia as they are testing experiments on you! By pressing up, and starting the game, you’ll be propelled at high speeds and you’ll have to jump through the freezing Russian climate in attempts to score as many points as possible. You can score points by jumping at the correct times, jumping long distances and grinding. The first play may be a bit confusing, but by the second play you’ll have mastered the genius simplicity of this game! Soviet Rocket Giraffe Go Go Go! is also available on the iPhone App Store!

zOMGies 2 Created by Jimp

zOMGies 2 is now out on Armor Games. I’ve never played the first one, but after playing the sequel I’ll definitely be checking out the original. zOMGies 2 is a fun, apocalyptic games where you run on the street with various weapons and try to kill as many zombies as you can! When you complete levels, new weapons are awarded to you. As you progress through the game, you’ll find power-ups, like the ability to drive a car, until it’s destroyed. You can earn extra points by getting headshots and multi-headshots and the best gun to get multi-headshots with early on is the shot-gun!

As always, the developers have been submitting amazing games to the portals around various websites! Some highlights are Castaway 2, Reimagine :The Game: and the release of Cursed Treasure: Level Pack! Once again, I’ll break it down to the top five and then some for you!

Castaway 2 Created by likwid

“Castaway 2 is now out on ArmorGames.com and with a bunch of improvements over the previous episode! I know that the first one had some issues and that left much to be desired, so thankfully, the developer has added many of those wanted features and bug fixes, including an auto-save, transparency of objects when behind them and a new, huge, inventory! This time Castaway shares with you over 100 exciting levels, brand new graphics, more monsters, more pets, leveling up skill points, new bosses and mini-bosses, a new crafting system with hundreds of combinations, new armors and weapons, nearly 100 quests and hours of replay fun! Indeed, Castaway 2 brings a whole new gameplay, while retaining much of the original fun and things you loved about the original Castaway! If you’ve never heard of Castaway, it’s an epic RPG game by Likwid Games that you won’t be able to put down once you pick it up!” – Continue reading our review of Castaway 2!
Cursed Treasure: Level Pack Created by IriySoft

“The level pack to the extremely popular and successful Cursed Treasure: Don’t Touch my Gems is now out! This level pack offers much the same gameplay as the original Cursed Treasure: DTmGs, but offers 15 brand-new, never-seen-before levels for your enjoyment! If you liked the previous game, then you’ll definitely love jumping right back into the hero-killing world of Cursed Treasure! If you remember, you play as the evil forces and attempt to stop the onslaught of heroes that are after your precious gems! Cursed Treasure: DTmGs was definitely one of the best tower defense games to date, earning the top spot on Kongregate.com and earning various awards and placements on other sites, such as Newgrounds and Armor Games!” – Continue reading our article on Cursed Treasure: Level Pack!

Reimagine :The Game: Created by Nutcasenightmare

“The third :The Game: episode is now out on Newgrounds.com! Reimagine :The Game: brings you all of the hilarious fun of the first and second game and adds new puzzling platformer levels! You’ll have to make your way through double-rainbow world, Apple-Portal mix, Youtube and much, much more in this hilarious parody game! Take control of your celebrity characters and guide them through a world of dangers! Get them to the exits to complete each level! The narration and the parodies altogether make this one of the funniest games to come out in a while! This mind-bending puzzles will make you think a lot – especially the boss levels!” – Continue reading our review of Reimagine :The Game:!

The I of It Created by Gameshot

The I of It is an interesting new game by Gameshot. One day, the T left the I and so your quest begins to find the T as the I! This cute puzzler will have to playing as the letter I and you’ll have to navigate through various levels to get to T. I must admire the level design and how all of the levels can be beaten with a character in the shape of a letter I. In each level there will be spikes and other traps that could lead to the end of I’s journey! Guide him through the levels and find T!

Diamond Hollow Created by Arkeus

Diamond Hollow was created for the Ludum Dare 20 competition, so it was made in 48 hours or less! Diamond Hollow is much like the game Tower of Greed. In both your greed dictates whether you live or die. You want to collect as many gems as possible, but you don’t want to fall off the stage, which will continuously side-scroll downward. Find a balance between living and making a living. As an avid Tower of Greed player and fan, I can say that Diamond Hollow is more challenging, but allows you to upgrade your character to lessen the difficulty. You have three lives, or health points really, and you must climb and climb throughout this cavern evading bullets, blowing up enemies and various other traps, while collecting an abundance of gems! Diamond Hollow is an extremely addictive game and the fact that it was made in less than 48 hours amazes me! After each run you can upgrade your character and his arsenal.
