Notebook Wars is a fantastic shooter that continues to be popular over the years with its solid top-down shooter gameplay and unique art. Now, Notebooks Wars 3: Unleashed is making a splash as it continues the excellence that was present in the previous games. Similar to the original Notebook Wars and its sequel, Notebook Wars 3: Unleashed lives up to its name with small air wars on, seemingly, a pieces of notebook paper. Throughout the game you’ll be able to upgrade your ship. It will start out with relatively weak guns and armor, but as you progress you’ll be able to upgrade More >

The game opens with the character creation screen. Here you can customize the look of your character and enter a username for your hero. After you create your character you’ll see a quick cut-scene that opens the beginning of the game and kicks off the storyline. Ahead of your character, you’ll bump into an egg that hatches. Legends of Pandora is a new RPG game by matakukos, popularly known for the Notebook War series. The game starts out simply, a quest of a missing news paper, but quickly you find yourself engulfed in a quest to find out why so many monsters are appearing throughout the world. Legends of Pandora is comparative to the early Legend of Zelda games, but has some differences that separate it as well. With simple game mechanics this game interprets some of the earlier games well, while introducing some of its own aspects. The pixel-art graphics also invoke nostalgia. If you liked the earlier Legend of More >
If you’ve been keeping up with the Mini Heroes beta, or are just a fan of the Castaway series by Likwid Games (of course, the same developer as Mini Heroes) then this is a very exciting day! Finally, Mini Heroes is out of beta and all of the dungeons are open. Unfortunately, if you played the game in beta then your account is wiped, but a special item is given to all beta testers. If you remember playing Castaway then you’ll find yourself right at home in Mini Heroes where many of the mechanics are similar as well as the gameplay. I’m More >
Jacksmith is a new building game by FliplineStudios, who has made countless Papa games, that have gone on to be very popular. In this game, your goal is to supply your soldiers with excellent-quality weapons so they can kill a bunch of monsters to aid your journey. I’m personally not a big fan of the food/time management games that have made Flipline one of the best recognized game development studios out there. When I first saw Jacksmith, I thought that I wouldn’t like it and it would be very similar to the Papa’s series, but I was surprised to find that not More >

Takeover is the new, and much anticipated game from IriySoft (probably best known for their Cursed Treasure games). This game is a mix of some previous hit-games, such as Kingdom Rush and Necromancer 2. Necromancer 2 is a little bit of a lesser-known game in comparison to Kingdom Rush, but I think it better resembles the design of Takeover, which has many of the same aspects, but in my opinion, executes them much better. In this game your goal is to summon your troops and attempt to conquer the nearby castles and towers. There’s a lot more to it than More >
With the increasingly competitive field of app game development, many great games go unnoticed! This is the first of many editions of “5 Little-Known and Incredible Android Games!” that will quickly go over some of the great little games that not many people know of, yet are simply fun to play and will give you your money’s worth. I’m planning on releasing a new edition of this biweekly featuring a minimum of fives game per edition – so if you want to find some awesome games every week, keep an eye on Guidology!
After a long wait, Cargo Bridge 2 is finally out! I remember when the original Cargo Bridge was released and having fun playing it for a few hours. I remember both loving the game and being very frustrated with it. The idea is very original and I haven’t seen it done before, so that’s a big plus for me, but the execution in the original Cargo Bridge got on my nerves because of the physics engine which seemingly allowed pathways to snap under very little weight. This seems to have been changed and I’m very excited to continue playing the More >
