FGL Developer Competition #8 – Make a Game in Under 24 Hours!
Flash Game License, one of my favorite sites to check out some future releases, is currently hosting their eighth Developer Competition, where developers, of all statuses, can enter their creations, made in 24 hours or less, into a grand competition. Competitors will face fierce competition from the other developers and you’re sure to see some great games made. What I love about these competitions is that you never know what kind of games people are going to make and some games are actually really good! Actually, Where am I?, a game made for the Ludum Dare competition, similar to this FGL Developer Competition, got their game onto Armor Games!
Like most of these tourneys there will be a theme, that is still to be announced. The eighth FGL Developer Competition will start up on June 9, 2011, just another couple of weeks away! So get thinking of a great idea for a game and be prepared to execute it on the 9! The grand prize for this competition is Adobe Flash CS5 (the newest version of Flash). Second and third place prizes will also be winnable, but they have announced just yet what second and third will take home.
Anyway, I hope to see a lot of participation in the event and I hope to see a lot of great games, at least for what can be done in a single day! You can learn a lot more about the competition in the link below.
